Jennifer Estrada

Jennifer Estrada is a bilingual counselor who believes that, at the heart of therapy, we are all seeking to be understood, to find meaning in our experiences, and to create lives that feel authentic and worthwhile. She approaches counseling from a humanistic and existential perspective, creating a space where individuals can slow down, reflect, and explore who they are, what matters to them, and where they want to go.

Jennifer believes that people are more than their circumstances, struggles, or past experiences. Her role is not to tell someone who they should be, but to walk alongside them as they discover their own strengths, values, hopes, and possibilities. She strives to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in compassion, authenticity, respect, and genuine human connection.

With a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and experience across community mental health, outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and family-centered settings,

Jennifer has worked with individuals and families navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, relationships, and questions about their future. She brings a collaborative and person-centered approach to each therapeutic relationship, recognizing that every person's story is unique.

Jennifer is particularly passionate about helping people explore questions such as: Who am I? What matters to me? What kind of life do I want to create? And how can I move forward when life doesn't look the way I expected? She believes that even during difficult seasons, people can find opportunities for growth, connection, meaning, and renewed direction.

As someone who grew professionally in the Rio Grande Valley, Jennifer values the culture, relationships, and diverse experiences that shape the community. She provides services in both English and Spanish and strives to create a welcoming environment where people can show up as their whole selves without judgment.

Jennifer is honored to be part of The Harvey House and hopes to offer a space where individuals feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. She believes therapy does not require having everything figured out before you walk through the door. Sometimes, the first step is simply having a place where you don't have to figure it out alone.

Jennifer Estrada is currently being supervised by Silvia Gutierrez-Leal, LPC-S, CRC, CVE, LCDC
